Joshua Jenkins is the Service Manager at Mister Sparky with 15 years’ experience in the trade. He has accomplished receiving certificates in NCCER PV Install and Design as well as his master electrician license. Joshua is consistently seeking to expand his knowledge and skill base to better himself and his family. In his spare time, he has many hobbies, a few of which include technology, shooting, and working on cars! He chose Mister Sparky because he has witnessed the company and its employees not only go above and beyond for its consumers, but also within its team members. Over the years he has seen numerous sacrifices for the good of the consumer and the employees that affect the company and his co-workers both long and short-termed. He believes that the willingness to sacrifice for others is the greatest sign of true compassion and love; Joshua contributes this in many small ways, taking a tremendous amount of pride in ensuring that his team bears the full weight of the customer service experience for the betterment our consumers’ lives. Marcos Gonzalez is an apprentice electrician who attended the St. Phillips electrical program. He enjoys spending his free time playing basketball with his buds and doing yoga on the beach. Currently, Marcos is the logistics assistant at Mister Sparky. He chose Mister Sparky for the opportunities they have to offer and plans to develop within the company. Marcos’s biggest inspiration is his family, they are truly the best!

Juan Guerra is a customer service representative for Mister Sparky. He has been in the customer service industry since 2018. Currently Juan is attending Northwest Vista College for a degree in communications. He enjoys making customers smile by going above and beyond to help out their needs. Nehalenia San Miguel is a Customer Service Representative at Mister Sparky with 7 years of experience in the service industry. She enjoys spending time with her husband, cuddling her doggo, as well as attending music events on the weekends. Nehalenia is proud to be working for a company that shares her values and executes them swimmingly. She relishes in assisting clients find their way through challenging times with exceptional customer service; with that, she plans on growing her career with Mister Sparky. Nehalenia’s biggest inspiration is her parents. They grew up in Mexico and relocated to the states, through challenging times; they learned English and built their domain. Cassandra has been in customer service since 2015. She was a customer care advocate before joining the Mister Sparky team in 2020. Her family is what motivates her to be the person that she is today. Her niece inspires her to be the best version of herself and to set good examples for the ones who look up to her. Cassandra is the definition of a people person and enjoys the opportunity to build relationships and to help others that puts a smile on her face. She chose Mister Sparky because of the environment, the energy of the team and the customer service we provide.
Amarylis has been in the customer service industry since 2016. She was working at another call center before joining Mister Sparky’s family in 2020. She enjoys helping others and building relationships with people. Her biggest motivation is knowing that there is a great team behind her. She is inspired by helping others, it brings her joy to help customers find solutions to their problems.
Brandy was born and raised in Lubbock Texas, Wreck’ em! She worked as a corrections officer before moving to San Antonio. Seeing the success from all of her hard work & perseverance is what motivates her to keep pushing and giving her all. When she sees someone working hard to create change and the kindness in others who are always willing to give a helping hand, inspires her to want to do the same. Brandy chose Mister Sparky because the company also enjoys lending out a helping hand and giving back to the community.
Lauren Marra is the call center manager for Mister Sparky. Prior to this, she was a preschool teacher for 2 years. Nowadays Lauren is pursuing a career in business and is looking forward to achieving more goals within her career here at the company. In her spare time, she really enjoys spending time with her friends and family. Lauren has always enjoyed assisting others and her career at Mister Sparky has been fulfilling. I have always had a passion for helping individuals that don’t have the ability to help themselves. I was working with a state waiver program to provide individuals with developmental disabilities the opportunity to be a part of the everyday community. This is something that I think everyone deserves and I am very happy to still be helping people who need it and I plan to move forward with schooling, in the future, to become a behavioral analyst or an autism spectrum disorder specialist.
I am pretty easily motivated and passionate about everything I do. I am always motivated by happy people and teamwork. I firmly believe happiness is the way to success. You always remember the person that made you laugh, is what I like to think and it hasn’t been proved wrong. I love to craft in different ways: sewing, embroidery, scrapbooking, photography, cooking, crotechting, and of course: plants. I love taking care of my plants and watching them grow. I most of all love to be a positive influence in anyone’s life that I can.
I chose Mister Sparky because I know this work is important and I believe I can make a great home here with this team of welcoming individuals. My first day was one of the easiest first days I’ve ever had and it has been a very positive experience since then! I am proud to be one of the first people to speak to the customers day to day and get them the services and help they need. I am learning a lot when it comes to electricity, to which I am very grateful. Also, my dad loves Mister Sparky and he was a mechanic at Incarnate Word since before I was born so he’s pretty proud that his daughter works for the best family-owned businesses of 2020!
Justin Salinas is a Customer Service Representative with Mister Sparky with 6 years of experience in the service industry. He loves spending time with his family playing with his daughter, going to the lake and spend the day fishing, enjoying some good bar-b-q or just relaxing and catch a good game on tv. Justin is proud to be a part of the mister sparky team because of how the company treats its customers with courtesy, respect and just being kind. George Saldana was born in San Antonio, TX. He has been married to a beautiful and supportive wife for 36 years and has 3 wonderful children, Jeff 31, Shari 33 and Marcus 24. His hobbies include motorsport racing in the national organization NASA, riding his Harley Street glide and hanging out in his backyard with his family by the pool. He studied business in Junior college in the late 1970’s and decided to open his first electrical contracting business at the ripe old age of 19 years old. After obtaining his City Electrical Journeyman’s license in 1982 and his City and State Master Electrical license in 1989, George has continued to hone his knowledge through annual Continuing education courses and on the job expertise that can only be obtained through years of practical experience and satisfied customers.
Over the past 40 years he has owned a steady, predictable and profitable electrical contracting business providing premium services for hundreds of clients during that time. He has enjoyed employee relationships that have lasted years, providing security for literally hundreds of families in an often-tumultuous economy where he often put his employee’s security ahead of himself. His companies have employed between 20 and 60 employees at any given time during these years.
George Saldana purchased his initial Mister Sparky Franchise #0055 in 2007 and purchased the remainder of the Metro San Antonio area Mister Sparky #0097 in 2009. George and his team service over 2.5 million people in over 900,000 households throughout the Metro San Antonio/ Bexar County area. George Saldana is a senior level executive overseeing entire departmental operations across all divisions of company. He leads a team of active management, service technicians, installation department and support staff through pragmatic, transparent and effective operations on daily basis. Responsible for leadership and guidance through effective management of a team culture focused on success. Member of FLT (Franchise Leadership Team) for Authority Brands / Clockwork Services providing communication from over 300 franchises to Franchisor directly for continued improvement, growth, and satisfaction for our Franchisee / Franchisor relationship.
George’s ongoing mission in his community is to provide the absolute best service and customer experience possible through education, reliability, and compassion. Mister Sparky San Antonio has very exclusive causal partnerships with Children’s Miracle Network, Pets Alive, San Antonio Food Bank, Meals on Wheels and many others too numerous to list. Community Outreach and Cohesive company culture are his chief objectives. Clinton has been in the trade since the beginning of October 2020. On his time off he likes reading books and spending time with his daughter. His daughter is the biggest motivation for him. What inspired him is knowing that he can wake up and be a helping to anyone. Clinton chose Mister Sparky to start his career because of the high online reviews and how well known they are around San Antonio.

My name is John Austin. I’ve been in the trade since 2019 with an electrical apprentice license and on the job training. I have the basic knowledge of residential, commercial, industrial and solar. I enjoy playing basketball and I am also a Christian that feels religion is very important. I chose Mister Sparky because of the drive and knowledge the company offers and how they treat their customers the best way possible. I will continue the reputation and be the best electrician I can be.

Matthew has been in the electrical trade since 2013 and started with Mister Sparky the summer of 2020. In his free time he enjoys mastering his cooking skills and playing softball. His daughter motivates and inspires him to be the best version of himself. Matthew chose Mister Sparky because the company believes in providing a great culture within the workplace and strives to always provide the best customer service.
I have been an electrician for 40 years working on residential and commercial projects for my family’s electrical company.
I enjoy hunting, fishing, riding my Harley, and driving my beloved ’57 Chevy. I also have 10 acres to explore which is home to five horses and six dogs.
I am inspired by good deeds. As a Boy Scout Leader and Mentor, I take great pride in the Scout Oath. Grandkids, Waylon and Avery are also my inspiration to get out and explore. Avery especially likes to get us up and moving to go see the horses.
I am motivated by my family. We have worked together for 40 years and my Dad started the family business to make sure his sons had a trade to earn a living with. I lost my Dad to brain cancer last year and it prompted my move to Texas. I had been working in California for the family business while the wife was here in Texas. I was where I needed to be to care for my Dad and my wife was here in San Antonio, caring for her Dad.
Mister Sparky was the closest alternative to working for my family business. There was a sense of integrity from the time of application I did not see elsewhere.

With a year of experience in the trade, Emmett Garcia is looking forward to growing with the company and learning the sparky way. In his free time Emmett enjoys playing the drums for a local rock group, some may compare his talents to Jared Smith from Archspire, just kidding. He may not be Jared Smith on bass, but he is a very talented musician. Being proactive with solving everyday challenges and the feeling of being successful when helping others resolve an issue is what motivates him most. Emmett chose to join Mister Sparky because he believes in putting the customer’s safety first and he admires how our team members motivate each other to go above and beyond when helping others.

Philip has been in the electrical industry since 2000 and is a Journeyman electrician. Philip loves to spend time with his family and friends enjoying the great outdoors. His children are what inspires him to be a great father and the best version of himself.
What motivates Philip most is his desire to leave a great legacy for his future generations to admire. Keeping families safe from unforeseen electrical dangers is important to Philip and is why he chose this profession. He chose to work for Mister Sparky because they put both their clients’ and employees’ safety above all else.

Kenny began his career in the electrical industry in 2017. He attended school at Independent Electrical Contractors here in San Antonio. Kenny enjoys spending his free time with his family. What inspires him most is the future that he has envisioned for himself and his family. His biggest motivation are the goals that he has set to provide a stable foundation and a bright future for his kids.The team’s values, morals and the tools that are provided for self building is the reason why Kenny chose Mister Sparky.

Sam Provenza is a licensed Electrician with over 7 years of experience in the trade. He enjoys mountain biking, kayaking, and fitness and is passionate about traveling as often as possible! Jason Gutierrez is an apprentice electrician who has been in the field for 3 years. He enjoys spending time with his family and attending sports events on weekends. Sal has been an electrician for over 16 years. In his free time he enjoys playing guitar, singing and watching football. Being from Colorado his favorite team, naturally, is the Denver Broncos. Bryan Martinez is the operations manager at Mister Sparky with over 100 hours of business courses completed with 5 years of on the job training. Prior to this he spent 5 years in the air force; leading teams in Afghanistan and running the base armory. Bryan enjoys spending time with his wife and 3 kids, traveling the world, watching sports and being outdoors! He chose Mister Sparky because it allows him to institute a military mindset into running the business and not only promote the highest degree of customer service but to also take pride in employee relationships.
